Head of ProductionManhattan, New York
Shilo seeks an accomplished, hands-on Head of Production for our NY office. Must be a strong leader and team player, well versed in both live action filmmaking and post production. Must have experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, working successfully with clients, creative and project management teams. We’re looking for someone who can not only lead producers and support staff, but also work closely with Creative Directors to take projects from concept through delivery. Should have excellent client skills and relationships, able to motivate teams, with a strong understanding of and passion for design, animation and live action filmmaking.
Professional Requirements: • Strong experience as a Senior Producer or HOP • Extensive knowledge of 2d/3d Motion design production pipelines • Excellent communication and leadership skills • Solid bidding experience; Live action bidding experience a huge plus, but not mandatory • Proven ability to keep projects on budget and schedule • Strong relationships with freelance talent pool • Highly skilled in cost tracking, actualization, estimation and departmental budgeting
